Who we are

Dalfirm is a web design and growth automation studio based in the United Kingdom. We build websites and WhatsApp automation for local businesses.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It applies to everyone who visits dalfirm.com, uses our contact form, or speaks to us on WhatsApp or email.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, company name, and the details you share about your project. If you message us on WhatsApp, we keep that conversation so we can answer and follow up.

When you visit the site, we collect basic usage data: pages viewed, device type, and rough location. We use it in aggregate to understand what people find useful.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to enquiries, prepare free audits, deliver the work you have agreed to, and send you project updates.

We do not sell your data and we do not rent it to anyone. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.

Legal basis

Under UK data protection law, we process your information on the basis of consent, contract, or legitimate interest. Consent where you subscribe to something, contract where we deliver paid services, and legitimate interest where we respond to an enquiry you have sent us.

Where we store it

Your information is stored on secure servers in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Access is limited to the people who need it to answer you or deliver your project.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the suppliers we rely on to run the business: our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our accounting software. Each works under its own data protection agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages and project files are kept for two years after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep the records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any legal requirement to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, limit how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form at /contact. We respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and to measure how visitors use it. We do not use advertising trackers.
